Psalm 115

Well, I'm back from Montana (I bet you didn't even realize I was gone!) and I'm in some disbelief that team begins in a mere 16 days! The summer has flown by.
I'm in my office reading through dramas so I can choose the ones the teams are doing this year and it's made me reflect on what a special ministry REACH is. I am living proof that the experience of a REACH retreat can change your life. This is not because anyone on REACH is so great...But because our God is so great. I first experienced REACH when I was 16 and I went in hoping to have a fun experience and left knowing that the God of the Universe loved me and knew my name. I was not alone and unlovable. I have not been the same since.
And now after a series of life events I won't bore you with, I am working at REACH and I am so blessed. God is still good and using this ministry to introduce Himself to youth and young adults around the country. He meets us where we are at whether it's a tiny town in South Dakota or the big city of San Diego...He finds us and loves us.
I have no idea if anyone reads this yet, but it's been nice to be introspective for a few moments. The new REACH year starts soon and then it will be busy, so it's good to remember why I'm here and who it's for.
"Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name give glory because of your faithfulness and love." Psalm 115: 1
Thanks for reading...
In Him,
Laura
