So here we are...Jake, Shane, Mark, Jake, Hans, Fred, Denise, Me, Melissa, Matty, Sabrina, Amanda, Alaina, Dan, Peter and Toni.

Training is over and I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep.

The pic above is from this past weekend. We were invited to King's Lake Camp up north of Deer Park, WA. We had a fun weekend full of camp fires, paddle boats, canoes, fish feeding, nature walking, food eating, movie making, guitar playing and many other things. It was a great way to end training before everyone gets on the road doing what they came here to do...RETREATS.

Lately I have really been appreciating the community I have around me. Not only REACH but the great Catholic people in Yakima that make it a priority to be in community and to support eachother in our walk with God. I so appreciate where God has brought me.

For those of you in the community (and with Reach) reading this...
thank you for sharing you life and your faith with me...you are really a blessing in my life.

Peace to you....Laura

PS...if you want to see more pics from the camping weekend
you can check out my myspace blog
www.myspace.com/lauramccain

Here's one of the first pics I've taken this year. The first pic is Jake W, Jake C, Peter and Shane at the Record Family's house. The second pic is Alaina happy about the pancakes. It was PJ's and Pancakes night. This is just one of the great things we've gotten to do so far this training.

Since my last blog we have gone through almost 2 weeks of training, Melissa has joined the team so we now have 15 team members, they have been put into teams, we learned to swing dance at the Sevigny's and we have really bonded as a group. God is so Good. Continue to pray for us and all those that support and sponsor us. We could not do this with out them.

Well, I'm back from Montana (I bet you didn't even realize I was gone!) and I'm in some disbelief that team begins in a mere 16 days! The summer has flown by.

I'm in my office reading through dramas so I can choose the ones the teams are doing this year and it's made me reflect on what a special ministry REACH is. I am living proof that the experience of a REACH retreat can change your life. This is not because anyone on REACH is so great...But because our God is so great. I first experienced REACH when I was 16 and I went in hoping to have a fun experience and left knowing that the God of the Universe loved me and knew my name. I was not alone and unlovable. I have not been the same since.

And now after a series of life events I won't bore you with, I am working at REACH and I am so blessed. God is still good and using this ministry to introduce Himself to youth and young adults around the country. He meets us where we are at whether it's a tiny town in South Dakota or the big city of San Diego...He finds us and loves us.

I have no idea if anyone reads this yet, but it's been nice to be introspective for a few moments. The new REACH year starts soon and then it will be busy, so it's good to remember why I'm here and who it's for.

"Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name give glory because of your faithfulness and love." Psalm 115: 1

Thanks for reading...
In Him,
Laura

(Good Job! You've already accomplished this step!)
2. Download the application pack.
3. Prayerfully fill it out and give your referrals to people.
4.
