My First Blog ... EVER!
Wow - my first blog! My kids will be so proud :-)
I'm not quite sure what to do with this new medium in my life. Time will tell, I guess. But for now, let me say ... what a blessing to work for REACH Youth Ministry! I've been around since the earliest days of this ministry (dare I admit that I was in high school in the mid-1970's when we in the youth group came up with the name?!), but to be on staff at this point in my life is incredible. The daily call to holiness in the example set by Dan, Laura, and our team members is a constant challenge and inspiration to me. What a wonderful place to spend my days.
In case you're wondering, when I'm not here in the office, I'm home with my husband of 24 years, Mike, our dog, our cat, and (sometimes) our kids. Michael will begin his senior year at Washington State University (Pullman, WA) on Aug. 21. Megan will begin her sophomore year at St. Martin's University (Lacey, WA) on Aug. 28. Our nest will be empty once again, and, really, we do miss our kids when they are at school ... but we also kinda like it when the nest is empty!
Blessings,
Tracie
