Chicken or Salmon?
I've been asking that question a lot this week - and asking it of a lot of people. Strange? Yes, somewhat, but then again, strange is in the ear of the beholder.
Anyway, Reach is having a fundraising dinner next Tuesday (April 24th) and those are the choices of entree. I must admit, some of my conversations have been rather enjoyable. For instance, I just now spoke with my good friend Jonny D. Jonny is soon to be married to the lovely Karen. When I asked him if they would prefer chicken or salmon, he immediately answered, "CHICKEN!" So I had to ask if he and his betrothed had actually even had the "chicken or salmon" conversation. Because, really, should you even consider marriage before having that conversation? Well, Jonny admitted that they probably could discuss the matter in further depth - in fact, I almost guilted him into choosing salmon - but at the last minute, he felt pretty sure they would both enjoy the chicken.
So the ultimate point of this blog is ... if you would like to join us for the Reach Youth Ministry Fundraising Dinner with Bishop Sevilla, call me and let me know ... chicken or salmon?!
RSVP by calling 509-678-8754 or emailing tracie@reachym.com or just visit our website for more details www.reachym.com
By the way, I'm having salmon ... my husband is having chicken. And, yes, we did actually have that conversation before we married :-)
