Why Reach?
Serving on a Reach team is fun, exciting and challenging. Reach traveling retreat teams are made up of 6 – 8 Catholic young adults between the ages of 18 and 30. Team life provides an opportunity for Catholic young adults to grow in their own faith as they share it with others. Reach is a unique chance to give it all to God for 11 months, serving Him and the Catholic Church.
Youth Today
Young people today are bombarded by what Pope John Paul II called the “culture of death.” Sex, drugs, alcohol, eating disorders and depression are all symptoms of a generation seeking happiness and fulfillment on a path that will never lead to it.
The World needs to be evangelized!
Reach team members travel around the United States and Canada to share the Truth with young people. Through retreat ministry Reach teams share that God is alive and real and loves them beyond all understanding. Reach retreats are a catalyst to bring about change in the youth of the Church and to show them there is more for them than what this world has to offer them.
Be on Team
The community of team life supports and challenges team members as they learn, pray, play, serve, minister and love while they share the Gospel with others. Team members build their personal faith through daily mass, team and personal prayer as well as fellowship and recreation with those around them.
